Wyldwood Sojurn in Marysville Ontario offers
a monthly Red Tent Temple Gathering every new Moon.
Here is a place to come to honour the Darkness of Earth and Night,
remember its gifts and express gratitude to Her. Here is where the Soul
abides!
The Darkness holds the wisdom of the ages, a Dark quiet, passive
state is necessary to listen to the inner messages of the Divine
Feminine, the Darkness protects sacred things fiercely, and keeps them
hidden, until the right time, the Darkness is a safe benevolent space,
a Womb, here we listen with a diffused awareness, this is not a time
to focus!
Because of too much focus on the outer world of light we are cut off
from our inner Wisdom and Soulfulness! Here we re-member what has been
dis-membered, through dance, celebration, song, chanting, art making,
storytelling and ritual.
The Red Tent Movement holds space beyond culture and religion, we
are all together under Moon and Sun as one family.
Our Red Tent is an authentic Mongolian windowless felt Yurt. We sit
in total darkness to listen . Hot rocks warm our womb space.
Wyldwood Sojourn is now an official member of the Red Tent Movement
founded in 2008 by Elisa Starkweather, Red Tent gatherings are
spreading out over the world and are currently across England, Canada
and USA. You may visit the Red Tent Site to see details of other groups.
W.S's vision in joining, is to hold space for the Divine Feminine
Darkness and for bringing more awareness of the power, in Moon Blood,
with which we build the human race. We wish to assist women to become
more aware of attraction energies in the Blood of Life, which we create
in our bones, and really feel it as a precious gift. We can grow to
understand how it enriches and deepens our creative lives ,both
personally and in community . Our monthly gatherings can also be an
opportunity to share stories and gratitude or just sit quietly in the
darkness of our Red Tent Yurt and listen to the voice of the Earth!
